I'm a UX researcher and designer who loves making complex systems simpler and more useful for the people who use them.
At Fluid, I design and ship checkout, admin, and internal tooling experiences in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment at an e-commerce startup. I work closely with engineers throughout the process, from early concepts to implementation, and often contribute directly by shipping my own PRs using agentic tools.
My background in academic research shapes how I approach design. Before moving into product, I spent five years studying mental health outcomes, designing longitudinal studies and analyzing behavioral data. That experience built a strong foundation in research, data analysis, and asking the right questions, which are skills I now use to uncover real user problems and guide product decisions, all while using AI to level up the design and interactions.
I’m excited about the role AI can play in design. I use it as a tool to accelerate exploration, streamline workflows, and synthesize ideas, but the core of my process still comes from human insight, thoughtful research, and close collaboration with the people building and using the product.
When I’m not designing systems or digging into data, you’ll probably find me optimizing a spreadsheet (you should see my books-read tracker for the year!), trail running in the mountains, or chasing down the perfect cup of coffee in Salt Lake.

The UX program addresses UX research, design, content development, communication, tone of voice and evaluation of all components and products with which end users interact. This includes hardware and software user interfaces, informational products, help systems, user support, identifying user needs, tasks, procedures, capabilities, and limitations when using technology and interacting with information.
The B.A. in psychology had students focus on human and animal behavior based on a curriculum that emphasizes current research and theory. I spent two years of undergrad working in a social development research lab, honing my research skills in the field of academia.
Designed features that helped retain 5 major clients, protecting at least $50,000 in monthly revenue.
Lead design for customer-facing SaaS web experiences, including checkout and administrative tools for managing products, subscriptions, payments, and customer data.
Partner with product leadership and engineers to refine requirements, clarify technical constraints, and translate complex operational workflows into clear user flows and interfaces.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Cursor, iterating based on user and team feedback.
Incorporate research insights, usability testing, and product data into design decisions to identify friction and refine workflows.
Collaborate with engineers throughout implementation, contributing directly in the codebase and resolving interaction details to ensure the final product reflects the design intent.
Conducted thorough assessments of clients' existing website, web-app, and mobile-app, employing a comprehensive analysis to identify areas for improvement. This involved evaluating usability, performance, navigation, and overall visual aesthetics.
Worked in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers and content creators, to ensure seamless implementation of the redesigned websites. This involved effective communication and teamwork to bring the vision to life.
Led redesign work on a B2B customer relationship management (CRM) platform for a PHX Ventures portfolio company, collaborating with the Chief Product Designer to simplify complex workflows.
Managed extensive data tracking for 150+ participants while monitoring safe handling of sensitive client data
